Urgent Response to Families Affected by Floods in #Lahj Governorate
As part of the Rapid Response Mechanism, #Deem for Development Organization (RRM) carried out an emergency humanitarian intervention in Lahj Governorate, Tuban District, following heavy floods that struck several camps and villages on August 24, 2025, affecting many families.
On August 26, 2025, a total of 177 emergency relief kits were distributed to the most affected families, following a thorough field verification process.
This intervention is part of the Rapid Response Mechanism supported by the United Nations Population Fund UNFPA Yemen , aiming to alleviate the suffering of affected families and meet their urgent needs swiftly and effectively.
