📢 “DEEM for Development Organization,” with the support of the Humanitarian Fund in Yemen, launches the “Life-saving Project for Women and Girls in Yemen: Providing Protection and Support”.

The project aims to provide support and protection to the most vulnerable women and girls in both Qa’tabah district (Al-Dhalea) and Maqbanah district (Taiz).
As 4 safe spaces were established in the two governorates to provide support for displaced, vulnerable, and marginalized women and girls.
The Safe spaces has a specialized team to provide psychological support services and legal consultations, in addition to providing a toll-free number for assistance and consultations around the clock.
Since the opening of the spaces, an increasing number of women and girls seeking support and empowerment have been received, with the team working on providing guidance and psychological support to deal with challenges.
Economic training and empowerment contribute to improving the lives of affected women and girls.
