Statement of Condemnation.

Deem for Development Organization condemns in the strongest terms the heinous crime that targeted Mr. “Moayad Hamidi,” the director of World Food Program office in Taiz, which is considered a cowardly assassination of an active and influential human figure in the humanitarian field. Who worked seriously and sincerely to serve humanity and improve the conditions of life in poor and disadvantaged areas.

Deem for Development Organization is deeply saddened by this criminal act targeting humanitarian workers, and stresses the need to uncover the circumstances of the crime and arrest the perpetrators and bring them to justice, in order for justice to be achieved and the safety of representatives of humanitarian organizations and relief workers to be preserved.

In this regard, Deem for Development calls on all local authorities in all governorates of Yemen to provide full protection for humanitarian workers and to take all necessary measures to ensure their safety and security in risky areas.

In conclusion, Deem for Development Organization renews its firm commitment to cooperate with World Food Program in Yemen office and all other humanitarian organizations in order to achieve food and humanitarian security in Yemen, and expresses sincere condolences with Mr. “Moayad Hamidi” family and all his colleagues in the World Food Program office in Yemen.
