“Medical diagnosis has become easier for patients after providing electricity (solar energy) in the hospital to operate medical devices around the clock,” says Dr. Abdullah, one of the doctors at the Dermatology Hospital – #Taiz Governorate.
Within “Supporting Integrated Health and Protection durable intervention for vulnerable people in Al-Mudhafar district of Taiz
governorate ( priority – 2)” Project, funded by the Yemen Humanitarian Fund #YHF ,Deem for Development Organization has installed and operated a solar energy system (10 kilowatts) for the Dermatology Hospital-National Leprosy Program- in Taiz, in order to contribute to alleviating the burdens of oil and diesel expense , as well as providing electricity to all hospital facilities and clinics and Admission departments on a 24-hour basis.
Noteworthy that more than 2171 beneficiaries have received treatment at the Dermatology Hospital since last January.
