We work In

SHELTER

.

Shelter

Providing immediate emergency shelter and essential non‑food items (NFIs) to newly displaced families remains one of the most pressing challenges in Yemen. Many families are forced to live in unsafe and precarious conditions for weeks before receiving adequate support. Through our Shelter program, DEEM works to deliver timely assistance, reduce vulnerability, and restore dignity by supporting both displaced families and the communities that generously host them.

PROTECTION

.

PROTECTION

Through its Protection program, DEEM  works to address GBV by providing specialized services for survivors, raising awareness on rights and safety, and creating safe spaces that restore dignity and resilience. Our interventions aim not only to respond to immediate needs but also to strengthen community mechanisms

HEALTH

.

Health

Through its Health program, DEEM works to strengthen community health systems, expand access to maternal and reproductive health services, and deliver life‑saving assistance to the most vulnerable. By combining emergency response with long‑term capacity building, DEEM strives to reduce preventable deaths, improve nutrition, and ensure that every family has the right to quality healthcare.

PEACE & COEXISTENCE

.

PEACE & COEXISTENCE

Deem for Development Organization has dedicated its efforts to fostering peace and coexistence as a cornerstone of sustainable development. Through community dialogue, awareness programs, and inclusive initiatives, Deem works to bridge divides, strengthen social cohesion, and empower citizens to live together in dignity and mutual respect.

WASH

.

WASH

WASH stands for water, sanitation and hygiene. Deem for Development Organization responds to this urgent need by implementing WASH programs that provide clean and sustainable water sources, rehabilitate sanitation facilities, and promote hygiene awareness across vulnerable communities.

RAPID RESPONSE MECHANISIM

.

RAPID RESPONSE MECHANISIM

The Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) is designed to provide a minimum package of immediate, life‑saving assistance to newly displaced persons and families affected by sudden crises.

The program delivers essential items such as ready‑to‑eat food, clean water, hygiene kits, and emergency shelter materials. This rapid intervention prevents the escalation of health risks, malnutrition, and exposure to unsafe conditions, while laying the groundwork for longer‑term humanitarian assistance.

Lets work together to save our planet

Climate change is a global challenge that will be felt disproportionately by the most vulnerable countries. Yemen is one of these as well as one of the countries that is least prepared to adapt. With much of the population dependent on agriculture for work, the agricultural effects of climate change impact the lives and livelihoods of most Yemenis.
