Abdul-Khaleq Mohammad Displaced from Al-Sarmin area in Sabr Al-Mawadim district to Jabal A’la area in Al-Taziyah district, with his family consists 7 members

Because of the conflict and war, A benefactor took care of him and housed him with his family in an old, unoccupied house, and due to the bad living conditions, he was unable to meet the needs of his family and children. Abdul-Khaleq says (when I heard about the Deem Organization supported by the UNHCR, that Deem is conducting registration for the displaced IDPs and providing them with cash assistance. I took my documents and went to register and interview within the organization, after that the protection monitor went to my place of residence, and assessed my situation

And when I got the first cash assistance, I spoke with one of the benefactors, and he gave me land at a low price and in long installments, I started buying some materials and storing them, and I received second cash assistance, so I took most of what I needed to build a room and a bathroom. When the neighbors know my situation, they helped me to start building my new house and also helped me with the rest of the materials.

Abdul-Khaleq Mohammad is one of the #caches beneficiaries, says the assistance I received from  Deem funded by UNHCR was a good omen and contributed a lot to the beginning of construction and people rallying around with me.
