“After my neighbor advised me to go to the Al-Shifa Health Facility, the midwife there told me that I needed to have a cesarean section. My husband and I were very worried, not only because of my health condition but also because we did not have enough money to go to another health center for the operation.
At that moment, the midwife told me that they would provide us with cash assistance to cover transportation costs. I felt a great sense of relief and we were overwhelmed with joy because this support was the light we needed. Thanks to this assistance, we were able to go to Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) in time.”
