Many families in #Maqbanah District in #Taiz Governorate are facing difficult conditions as a result of the heavy rains and floods that struck the region during the past days, resulting in a large number of homes being damaged and rendering many families homeless.
Within the framework of the Tri-Sector Activities Project to provide protection services to vulnerable displaced people and conflict-affected populations in Taiz and Al Dhalea, and in partnership with the Shelter Cluster and with support from @UNHCRYemen, Deem for Development distributed non-food item bags to 217 affected families in #Maqbanah District – #Taiz Governorate.
These necessary bags included (mattresses, blankets, solar lamps, kitchen utensil sets, water buckets, and mats), in response to the urgent needs of families affected by the floods, with the aim of alleviating their suffering and providing some of the basics they need in these difficult circumstances.
