Nabila, a 45 years old women, lives with her children in an environment that does not believe in the rights of woman’s , her husband died and she was denied from having nether her rights or her children’s rights  from the inheritance .

Nabila has borne the burdens of life since her husband’s passed away  and has been both the  father and mother to her children, and she works hard to teach them while fighting the society’s perception  of her as a working widow.

Nabila says, “We were suffering from difficulty in providing a livelihood, and one day I was talking with my neighbors, and they told me about the safe space and the services it provides. On the second day morning  I went to the safe  space and was welcomed there and I joined the project management course, and then I immediately joined the sewing course that was I always thought about it, but I did not  find the opportunity to learn  it. ”

After her enrollment in the sewing course, Nabila attended many awareness and psychological support sessions that she benefited from, which made her more persistent, as  she become a skillful sewer  now  her neighbors and friends  are racing for her sewing .

Nabila says, “I benefited a lot from attending the sewing courses and was welcomed and encouraged by the space staff, which made me excel and became an excellent dressmaker , and now I own a sewing machine that is now my source of income)

Nabila and many of the women whom Deem for Development  Organization  supported by UNFPA  ,enabled them to change their lives by entering the sewing course and overcoming some of the conditions facing them.
