There are still restrictions and barriers imposed on rural women in the way of depriving them of their right to education or reaching their goals in life, at a time where women have gained their place in society.
- H, “A girl from the countryside of Al-Agwal, an area in which it is known for girls to drop school and do not complete their education , as “R.H” was deprived of her university education despite her strong desire to learn, she says ” After a while of leaving my university education, I came to see what services are provided in the safe space which I have heard about a lot from my friends . I was very impressed with the course of making incense and perfumes, and I enrolled in it immediately because it is an opportunity to learn a craft that compensates me for being deprived of education.
After joining the incense and perfumes course , she received several awareness sessions that gave her self-confidence and a strong drive to serve her family and society.
Now, R. H. is selling her products of incense and perfumes within her village and nearby villages , and she is happy and proud of what she does, Especially when you hear words of admiration from women in her village for her products.
“R.H” thanked Deem team for this project, which had an effective role in raising the level of rural women and giving them the opportunity to prove their presence and leave their mark in the community and encourage them to move forward.
